| Description | Face A : PAN (nu, ithyphallique, tête de bouc) , court vers la g., poursuivant un jeune berger (DAPHNIS ?) qui s'enfuit en se retournant vers lui. Daphnis porte un bonnet, un chiton court, une peau de bête et des chaussures et tient un fouet de la main dr. Hermes de PRIAPE ithyphallique sur un rocher. Face B ARTEMIS (diadème, chiton, himation, nébride, carquois dans le dos) tenant un arc et une flèche dans la main g., se retourne pour décocher une flèche à Actéon. ACTEON (chaussures, chlamyde), tombé à genoux, la main dr. tendue vers le ciel, la main g. appuyée au sol, est attaqué par quatre CHIENS. |
| Special notes | Mettant les deux faces du vase en relation, Beazley reconnaissait Daphnis dans le jeune berger poursuivi par Pan. Cette interprétation est aujourd'hui abandonnée. ▼ ▲ |
